Leave A Lasting Legacy

Your gift can make a difference for generations to come.

What is the Legacy Society?

This is the way Big Brothers Big Sisters recognizes individuals who have made future gifts through their wills, life insurance policies, or retirement plans, through trusts, in their final estate plans or in some other way. We are grateful for their foresight and generosity.

Why Make a Legacy Gift?

What will your legacy be? You can create a legacy of positivity, mentorship and change and impact a child’s future. A legacy gift to Big Brothers Big Sisters ensures the continuation of our innovative mentoring programs and is an investment in the future of our Littles. Legacy gifts can also provide you with significant tax advantages.

Your legacy gift can give a child who is facing adversity the opportunity to achieve great things. Legacy gifts are committed now, but are spendable in the future, such as gift commitments through the will, trusts, life insurance policies, and retirement plans. Many of these gifts can be completed with simple beneficiary changes, and others require legal counsel to complete. Every donor who makes a legacy commitment will be recognized by our Big Brothers Big Sisters Legacy Society. Your legacy can have a BIG impact. Please consider including Big Brothers Big Sisters in your will or estate plan, and let us know when you do.

Our legal name is Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Birmingham and our Tax ID is 63-0647080.
