Thank Your Mentor Day
Were you lucky enough to have a mentor influence your life? This week we're reflecting on the ways we have all benefited from a mentor. Be sure to thank your mentor today on Thank Your Mentor Day! Honor them for all they did for you in real life.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for our annual picnic. From Face Painting to three-legged races to jumbo jenga, there was something for everyone to enjoy! We're already looking forward to our Holiday Party in December! Keep a look out in your mailbox for more information. Please be sure to keep us updated if your address changes.
School will be back in session before you know it! Each year, with help from the Birmingham Bar Association, we collect school supplies for the Littles in our program. This is a great way for your group, club, department, etc. to work together and give back! We're collecting items from the list below. All items should be dropped off at our office by Friday, July 24th. For questions or more information contact Brooke McKinley at firstname.lastname@example.org or 205-939-5590 x23.

Brothers and Sisters. Children who are mentored are 52% less likely to skip

Bowl for Kids’ Sake! This year’s bowling event will take place on Friday,
August 21 and Saturday, August 22 at Oak Mountain Lanes. Each bowler on the
team raises money through a personalized online fundraising page. Most people
raise an average of $150, but some have raised well over $2,000. “This event is such a fun way to raise money
and awareness about what we do. It’s a great way for companies to do some team
building, while also giving back to the community,” said Sue Johnson, CEO of
Big Brothers Big Sisters.
